The Lip Flip at Skin Lab Medispa creates the appearance of a fuller, more defined upper lip by relaxing the muscle that sits directly above it — without adding any filler or volume. A small amount of injectable product placed precisely into the orbicularis oris muscle causes the upper lip to gently roll outward and upward rather than curling inward. The result is a lip that appears naturally fuller and more defined. It is an entirely different outcome to lip filler and suits a different type of patient. The Lip Flip is particularly well suited to patients who want a subtle improvement without committing to filler, patients whose upper lip disappears when they smile, those wanting to trial a fuller appearance before considering filler, and existing filler patients wanting additional upper lip definition without added volume. Results become visible within 5 to 7 days and typically last 6 to 8 weeks. No downtime. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
